Introducing Chicago’s NEW Jewish Stand Up Show: Chutzpah in the Chi. Chutzpah in the Chi showcases the best local Jewish comics in this monthly showcase of excellent Jewish comedy in the Midwest.
Our shows are ALWAYS open to everyone of all backgrounds to provide a safe, inclusive space for Jewish humor, relatability, and kvetching free from discrimination. Antisemites are not allowed.
Each month, Chutzpah in the Chi travels the city showcasing the outstanding comedians of Chicago who are Jewish [and sometimes even Jewish adjacent] to deliver fresh, unhinged humor, so we all laugh more instead of cry. Join us on our nomadic journey across ChiTown as we search for the perfect stage to share our bits and inside baseball Jewish humor.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to create more spaces for Jews to laugh and feel safe in comedy, no matter their religious beliefs or political views. This is a space dedicated to celebrating Jewish comedy. It starts in Chicago, and we aim to continue this visibility across the country.
